The Tasmanian School of Art is a vibrant and strong community within the University of Tasmania. The innovative campus based at Hobart’s waterfront, plays a vital role in developing and exhibiting the work of upcoming Tasmanian artists. Strengthening links between the School of Art and other campuses is paramount to ensure not only its prosperity, but further to maintain and develop cultural standings at University.

I am running for Arts Representative because I believe the School of Arts should be a celebration of Tasmania’s extensive and growing arts community. I believe that every arts student should be supported in their artistic endeavours both on campus, and in establishing in-roads within the wider arts community.

What I Want To Do

  1. Establish a voice for student’s ideas and suggestions, and engage with students in developing services and facilities at the School of Art.
  2. Advocate for a Cafeteria that is not only reliable, but moreover provides a range of ethical, nutritional and cost-effective foods.
  3. Promote student’s artwork to be exhibited throughout the campus.
  4. Develop progressive strategies to ensure the School of Arts remains a vibrant campus within the scope of the University.

Past Experience
